Fight your SF parking citation for $3.99
San Francisco writes over 3 million parking citations a year — more per capita than almost any US city. Most people just pay. But you have 21 days to contest, and many citations get dismissed. We write your protest and file it with the SFMTA for you.

How SF citation disputes work
Who handles disputes?
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) handles all parking citation disputes through their Citation Review division. You can protest online or by mail.
What's the deadline?
You have 21 days from the citation date or your first courtesy notice to file a protest. If your first-level protest is denied, you have an additional 25 calendar days to request a second-level administrative hearing.
Two levels of appeal
SF has a two-step process. First-level protest: submit online or by mail (reviews take up to 90 days). Second-level hearing: if denied, request a hearing by email, phone, video, or in person. A hearing deposit equal to the fine amount is required.
